How To Clean Your Make Up Brushes FAST.
A question we get asked for all the time!
Here are two different ways of cleaning and drying MakeUp Brushes for effective results.
If you are a Make Up Artist and you have clients consistently throughout the day, you're going to want to clean your brushes between each person.
Makeup brushes not only accumulate pigment liquids, powders and oils from the product, but they also become laden with dust, dirt. A breeding ground for bacteria, which is then transferred onto the skin. When this occurs, the skin is not only at risk of acne, congestion, and infection, but with dangerous strains of bacteria such as e.coli and staphylococcus, there is a serious risk to overall health.
The quickest way to do this is to clean the brushes with 99% pure isopropanol alcohol solution.
A brilliant brand who stocks this solution in its products is called ISO Clean.
Simply dip the brush into the solution, or spray it on, and swirl the brush onto a bit of tissue paper for the dirt to be extracted.

Hey guys! Here’s how I clean my make up brushes in between clients or after I complete a make up look on myself. I would fully wash my brushes after a full day of clients with fairy liquid (I can show you another time) however, this is a super quick simple way to clean in between. @iso_clean brush cleaner @poise.collections brushes Facial Wipes or Anti Bac Wipes How do you clean yours? ✨👇🏽 #facesbypoppy #cleanbrushes #brushclean #makeuptools #makeupartists #love #igtv #bossbabeiga #thebossbabesociete #makeupbrush #howto
Another way is to use Fairy Liquid.
We would suggest you do this one evening after using your brushes. Rub Fairy Liquid into the brush head (making sure that no fairy liquid or water gets in the glue that attached the hairs to the handle, point the brush downwards) and rinse off the brush using a Brush Cleaning Mat, we recommend one from Sigma.
Once that is done, place the brush on the edge of a worktop with the brush head coming off the edge. Make sure that air can access the brush hairs all the way around.
This way, the air can dry the whole brush, keep the shape and not leave the brush hairs drying in weird positions.
They'll be dry by the morning!
